    This course provides an opportunity for students to apply knowledge and techniques learned in the classroom to actual job experience. Classroom instruction must precede the job experience or the student must be registered for courses at the same time the student is enrolled in the work experience.     This is a competency based course of study. Students will use the QuarkXpress program, computers, laser printers, and scanners to develop skills in text and graphic image assembly to produce documents for reproduction. Prerequisite: ACOM 1110.

    This course is an introduction to digital illustration and painting techniques using Corel Painter and Adobe Photoshop. Students will become familiar with the digital brushes, dry/wet media and substrates used in these areas of visual communications.
